Laser Cutting

GSM Valtech has Laser cutting available for materials from 0.1 mm rigid plastic to 12 mm thick mild steel. We also regularly cut aluminium, stainless steel and zintec.

Laser cutting is one of GSM Valtech's range of in-house processes to enable cutting and profiling of our sheet metal work.  We can also offer a laser cutting service for those who just want this process only.

Our maximum sheet size is 2.5 m x 1.25 m.

Our laser cutting machine in comparison with our CNC punching machines has a number of advantages for low to medium volume or very intricate designed sheet metal products.  There are no tooling costs and it gives a better edge finish with no nibble or punch witness marks. For larger volumes or our CNC punching machines give much faster process times.
